Kathy Catron, President & Founder, Write Result
Kathy Catron, President of Write Result, has more than 15 years of professional experience in corporate communications, marketing for non-profits and public relations with expertise in media relations and publicity. She has worked with press on a national and international basis, specifically media in the areas of sports, tourism, news and business. She has served as media spokesperson for Volusia County Public Schools, for Daytona International Speedway and has worked with sports entities including NASCAR, the American Motorcyclist Association and Grand American Road Racing Association.
Her consultancy, Write Result, specializes in providing strategic marketing and communication services to non-profits and small businesses. Kathy taps her experience in social media and grassroots marketing to help her clients – big or small – be successful.
Her skills and expertise have been tapped by the tourism industry of Florida, higher education and several of Florida’s K-12 public school systems, government, companies nationally and internationally in the sports and entertainment industry, building and manufacturing organizations and non-profit organizations.
Her consultancy Write Result specializes in providing strategic marketing and communication services to non-profits and small businesses.
Kathy holds a master’s degree in Communications and a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Central Florida. She is a published writer whose works have appeared in publications including the Daytona Beach News-Journal, Halifax Magazine, The Beacon, Volusia Parent magazine and Casual Flavors magazine. In addition, she has been recognized by Public Relations Society of America and Florida Public Relations Association for outstanding accomplishments in public relations.

Catherine Klasne
Catherine Klasne is a professional writer and editor who joined Write Result as a public relations specialist in 2009. So far, her writing work has included the DeltonaFORYou.org Web site; promotional pieces for the local Easter Seals agency, United Way Community Foundation, a law firm and a construction business; and municipal newsletters and an annual report for the City of DeLand.
Catherine was born in Indianapolis, grew up in Sarasota, Fla., and is an alumna of the University of Miami. She has worked for several Florida newspapers, including The Tampa Tribune, Sarasota Herald-Tribune and Daytona Beach News-Journal. She may be best known locally as the News-Journal’s longtime food editor.
